who doesn’t understand it is not capitalism that caused the current mortgage/insurance troubles but redistributionists gaming the system, and carefully orchestrating the timing of the bailout, please take one step backwards, and face away from the computer.

This was McCain’s bill back in 2006 wanting to go after Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to straighten this mess out. The bill was passed along to a Democrat-led Congress and was killed in Committee.
My reach-through-the-radio-and-strangle-the-speaker moment this morning came during the Glenn Beck radio show when a caller asserted that “Capitalism is on trial, here, and it’s losing badly.”
And now you know why.

All too true but that information isn’t getting out there. Since the MSM is in the pocket of the redistributionist, you can be assured that the true nature of the problem will be ignored or swept under the rug.
Chucky Schumer, Chris Dodd, and the other Dem., who bear a lot of the responsiblity, blitzed the Sunday morning talk show to cover their ass and the moderators sat back and let them do it. A clear illustration of how the MSM is carrying the Dem’s water for them.

Lordy, do we have an example of this today. The gubmint, for more than the cost of the war they say is too expensive, will make the problem go “away.”
I’ve been looking through the library’s kick-ass, detailed atlas for an hour now, and can’t find “away” on it to save my life. It’s that special, happy place that leftists promise that all problems will go to once they’re in power. Cost of health care? It’ll go away. Unexpected pregnancies? They just go away. Away; must be yet another breakaway Soviet or Yugoslav republic that’s not on this map’s edition.
Yup. I got this whole situation dialed in. I explained queue pasta to the wife last night and she could not freaking believe it. The longer this BS “crisis” lasts the better. Gives us more time to figure out what actually happened and pass this knowledge on to those who haven’t had the time to figure it out.
I’m starting to think about a real revolution and buying all the ammo I can get my hands on.
This is the one thing I’m fully in agreement with Ron Paul on.
He does understand finance.
