The Feds will probably annouce Al Franken as the winner tomorrow.
It’s time for change, my friends. And not the change that fucking communist is talking about. I’m ready to fight, to their deaths.

Anyone who has studied statistics knows that cheating has happened here. It is extraordinary for the re-tallying to continue to go in favor of Franken.
But because no one has figured out how the cheating has been done, the law continues to allow it.
Now lets pretend the roles were switched and it was the Republican nominee who was getting all the re-tally votes…
Simple math.
Is there anything more boring than the losing side complaining about cheating?
Coleman and Franken are both terrible candidates; who cares. Franken will be embarrassing, Coleman has been a complete joke for years. The real joke is on Minnesotans.
ed: You mean, like Democrats, for the last eight years? Welcome Back, Tom! your “Soft power” seems to be working out remarkably well. Not.
Well some of the stats are showing more ballots than there were possible voters in some counties. It’s a pretty sure bet that there are going to be law suits filed over the whole sorry mess.
“Is there anything more boring than the losing side complaining about cheating?â€
You don’t know math very well, do you? To have EVERY additional tally after the election come up with additional votes for Franken until he has the majority votes is an extra-ordinary improbability. Norm Coleman wasn’t losing. He was winning – until the Democrat shell game with the votes started taking place.
This vote ‘discovery’ gimmick (after election day) is purely a Democrat vote-theft device. They did it in New Hampshire in 1974, when the Republican Wyman won the election only to lose it due to a ‘re-vote’ later to Democrat Durkin. They did it in Indiana in 1984 when the Republican McIntyre won the election only to lose it due to the Democrat Majority Congress re-tallying later stating that Democrat McClosky won. They did it in 2004 when the Republican Rossi won the election only to lose it due to re-tallying later to Democrat Gregoire. They are now doing it in 2008 when the Republican Coleman won the election only to lose it due to re-tallying later to Democrat Franken.
Alright, boys and girls, does anyone see a pattern emerging? What about Bush vs Gore? Well boys and girls the re-tallying was STOPPED BEFORE it could be fudged in Gores favor.
And the libtards said Bush stole the election…

… and Tom, here’s a little hint as to what is going on:
“The head of the Washington State Democratic Party orchestrating this ballot theft (in the 2004 Washington State Governor election where Republican Rossi was beaten by Gregoire due to a ‘re-tally’) was Paul Berendt. Guess who is advising Al Franken on the Minnesota recount right now? That’s right: Paul Berendt.â€

“The real joke is on Minnesotans.”
You do have a valid point.
You do have a valid point.
if he wears a hat, I bet nobody will notice.
cond0010: And yet the state canvassing board is made up of both republicans and democrats, and there may be even more republicans than democrats on that board (one of the people on that board was elected in a non-partisan election). And every single vote by that board since this recount has started has been unanimous. You can look this all up yourself.
may be? There may also be magic unicorn farting rainbows. You can look it all up for yourself. \
So it appears to be sour grapes to complain.
yes. You mean like Democrats, for the last eight years.
Not disagreeing that having each recount issue go Franken’s way is statistically improbable, but please illuminate me on why an independent, bi-partisan board would vote unanimously every single time.
Can you say “RINO”? I knew you could.
And Og, the ‘soft power’ comment is, as you say, a bit ad hominem. Obama’s not president yet.
No, he just THINKS he is, having invented an office that didn’t exist. And he’s already making policy. if he wants to act like he’s already large and in charge, let him take the knocks for it too.
Pity you just never learn, Tom. But don’t worry, you won’t.
And of course, Tom, you moron, it’s clear from Cond’s post (and from the facts, if you bother to look, which you won’t, because they don’t support your twisted worldview)that it isn’t the election committe wandering around like LBJ “Finding” uncounted votes, it’s democrat operatives. of course.
Oh boo fucking hoo, Og.
let’s see: Who’s the first to come here and whine about Franken… Oh, yeah, that was YOU. Boo hoo indeed. One would think you’d eventually grow up…. no, wait, one wouldn’t.
“And yet the state canvassing board is made up of both republicans and democrats, and there may be even more republicans than democrats on that board … And every single vote by that board since this recount has started has been unanimous.”
Tom, you don’t listen. I will repeat: ‘But because no one has figured out how the cheating has been done, the law continues to allow it.’
The Scam Artists have power because the victim DOES NOT know how (or if) he is being scammed.
Because Republicans abide by the law, they _perceive_ that Franken got the votes just by looking at the data handed to them and so they end up agreeing with the Democrats. Once the corruption is laid bare, then the _perceived_ extra votes (even in the precincts that got more votes than they have voters…) would be discounted.
So we have the extreme statistcal improbability of the retallying continually going Frankens way, and a past record of votes being re-tallied going to the Democrats. Looks fishy to me, Tom.
So tell me, Tom, If a grifter, scam artist or sidewalk illusionist came to you and was going to sell you the Brooklyn Bridge – he even had the Deed in his hand to prove it -(Think vote ballots, Tom… think hard) would you buy it?
How about stock in a company (Ever hear of Madoff, Tom? – he was a man with a ‘name’ in good standing)? Or someone asking donations over the phone for handicapped people?
Its not that this voter fraud happened just this once… its now happened 4 times (it would have been a 5th time had the Re-tallying NOT been stopped during the Bush/Gore election).
“Because Republicans abide by the law” … LOL. Right, that’s the kind of hard-hitting analysis that changes minds.
Well, compared to your new lord and master and his cronies, the very worst republicans are saints.
Being Republican makes one no less likely to abide by the law. Gimme me a cotton-pickin’ break and grow up. Fraud happens all the time. Ever hear of Jack Abramoff?
Yes. You know who else I’ve heard of? Barney Frank. Franklin Raines. You bring your list, I’ll bring mine. idiot.
You’re right, Dick. A hat wouldn’t cover the point on Tom’s head. Especially with all that tinfoil.
Tom,
I’m missing something. What’s the point of coming back and arguing with people whose political leanings are so far different than your own? You’re not going to change our minds and. you know it. So what’s the point?
he has to “Speak truth to power”. it helps him sleep at night knowing he’s fighting the good fight.
The good stupid fight, for his own enslavement, but still.
That’s a really (I mean REALLY) good question, Dick.
The closest I can get to answering it is that I genuinely like/want to understand multiple points of view on things.
As long as those views don’t include, you know, actual truth. Alternately, so I can tell all my cool friends what those ignorant red staters in flyover country are saying about the messiah.
(for example, your closest cousin in my bookmark list on the left would be snunes.blogspot.com. She’s probably a bigger crackpot than Og is, but they’re both in the ballpark). And I read here far more often than I write. And probably should leave it that way.
Pout. But you’re so much fun to make fun of!
Anyway, I didn’t come here to “whine” about Al Franken; I couldn’t care less if he won and frankly I think that senate seat is pretty irrelevant in either case. That, of course, would be because you’re a moron. It’s not like Norm Coleman has accomplished anything, and it’s certainly not like the Senate is going to allow Franken to do very much either. But all this caterwauling about cheating etc is crazy silly. Republicans cheat, Democrats cheat. Sometimes I gotta call ’em as I see ’em.
Which is of course how any moron calls ’em. Wrong. Please come back when you have a list of republican politicians who cheat, and then compare it to a list of Democrat politicians who cheat. I think if you were capable of thirty seconds of intellectual honesty (which, by voting Obama, you have demonstrated conclusively that you are not) you would see this as clearly as everyone else.
There are morons on both sides of the aisle, and here’s the thing: When a Republican is found to have his hands dirty, his constituency rejects him. When a democrat is found to have his fingers dirty, his constituency defends him.
/goes back to lurking. Dang. I’ll have to go back to writing, instead of just fisking your stupidity. Think of the blogfodder I’ll miss!
Here’s the bottom line, Tom. there isn’t a damned thing the Democrat party has done in ages that doesn’t earn them the right to a short piece of rope. The republican party may not be much better, but the core ideology of classical conservatism and classical liberalism is still sound. Republican politicians don’t espouse all of those principles, but Democrats espouse none of them. You aren’t capable of learning this, so we make fun of you- but we also pity your ignorance, because it makes you such an easy target for every fast talking magic negro that comes along.
Okay, see your point, but I still don’t get the self torture. I mean, hell, you could simply turn on Fox News, without the abuse involved.
But then again, I guess that’s part of the fun.
“”Because Republicans abide by the law” … LOL. Right, that’s the kind of hard-hitting analysis that changes minds. ”
I recall that you were using this ‘abiding of the law’ as an arguement for the vote re-tallying to be correct, legal (and that I should stop whining) (quote): “And yet the state canvassing board is made up of both republicans and democrats,… And every single vote by that board since this recount has started has been unanimous.â€
So which is it? Republicans are being corrupt by agreeing with the Democrats in this re-tally, or That the Re-tally is correct because the Republicans are agreeing with the Democrats.
You see, you can’t have it BOTH ways. You lose, pal.
Further, you minimize the Republicans ‘abiding the law’ giving an example of corruption of another Republican on something TOTALLY different from what we are talking about. In this case, Tom, the Republicans ARE abiding by the rules. After all, they do seem to be ‘agreeing’ with the Democrats at the moment, are they not?
Lastly, the main thrust of my arguments were not even touched by your flaccid flailing on my minor point about my republican generalization.
You’re not interested in a meeting of minds. You’re here to argue.
and, pitiably, this is “getting hit on the head lessons”
“She’s probably a bigger crackpot than Og is, but they’re both in the ballpark). ”
Why are you here, Tom. You just insulted, by insinuation, the host of this blog. If this was at his house (and not his blog), you would probably be asked to leave.
“I couldn’t care less if he (Franken) won and frankly I think that senate seat is pretty irrelevant in either case.”
…And yet, if it were a Democrat who was going to lose the seat due to the exact situation it may be a different story to you.
Further, this SHOULD interest you because this is a very serious case of ongoing corruption. If corruption from Republicans bother you (Ex Jack Abramoff), then corruption from Democrats SHOULD bother you too. If not, you’re verbal arguements should no longer be taken seriously.
…and if corruption doesn’t bother you at all, then you might as well be one of them archarists who lives by what ever rule they find convenient at any given time.
“It’s not like Norm Coleman has accomplished anything”
Yes he has. Infact about 50% of the Minnesota voters in a HEAVILY Democrat state voted for him thereby agreeing that he is definately better than Franken.
“But all this caterwauling about cheating etc is crazy silly.”
You’re right, Tom. Thanks for the reminder to not try to respond to idiot comments from Trolls. It is rather silly and a massive waste of my time.
“Republicans cheat, Democrats cheat.”
Oh yes… lets devalue what the Democrats are doing with the re-tally cuz the Republicans are not pure. I guess we can use you’re logic rather handily in other ways: ‘Yes, the man raped, tortured and then murdered my daughter, but you know, since I copied my personal tax returns off the copiers at work, i guess I’m no better than him…’.
The post was about the cheating in the Re-tally Tom. Yes, its important and don’t try to belittle the issue by saying ‘Republicans cheat, Democrats cheat’. Thats BS and you know it.
“/goes back to lurking.”
Yes, Tom, you go back to lurking. You sound alot more wise that way. This is my first taste of you’re ‘logic’ and now I know first hand as to why you are called a ‘Fucktard’.
The shoe fits.
Dick, from this morning … more news we all should love:
