more, better pics.
The ramp, closer:
the other side, open. I won’t blue it till spring.
Yesterday I carved a big slot in my right index finger. Today I poked a hole in the left middle fingeropening a light bulb blister pack. I was opening the pack, because a week ago, I replaced a headlight in the Sploder. Instead of buying two bulbs, one of which I invariable lose long before the other bulb dies, I bought one
Now the other bulb burned. So I bought a blister pack of two, since two were only $1 more than ONE. And I put the spare, blood and all, into the glovebox.
Next to the other three half blister packs. And the tube of patent roid medicine that I just replaced.
Been a good day.
dude, if you keep the blood off, they last longer.
Looks nice!
With the express sights, I find myself wishing it was in .35 Whelen rather than ’06…
Nice mill work there Og.
The fit around the receiver end looks dead on.

“Now the other bulb burned.”
I did the same damn thing last month on my wife’s van. And I came so close to buying the two-pack the first time, too. Shoulda, woulda, coulda.
Nice machine job on the Arisaka.
Some long-dead Nippon 2-center is wondering what the heck you are doing with the Emperor’s rifle!
O’Toole’s Law.
:-)
Always replace both bulbs at the same time. It’s a good way to keep track of the second one. :)
Like Tam, I’d love to see it in .35 Whelen. Tell me you’ll regulate it for 200 or 220g!
Nice job Og, obviously you’re a believer in the old adage if you don’t bleed on it, it’s not completed…
