Persists everywhere. The idea that voting or individual activism will fix the trouble we’re in is a big part of what got us into this mess to begin with.

Our republic is strong, and is filled with hardworking people who will carry it anywhere it wants to go. Pitiably, the leadership of that Republic has been usurped by a shadow empire, a ruling class which has it’s own set of rules and it’s own hierarchy.

Nobody “Elected” Rahm Immanuel, nobody ran against him. Wingnuthead got “voted” in despite being as worthless as tits on a boar. The Ruling Class, despite being subject to an electoral process, will always only ever allow candidates to appear who meet their criteria. There’s a lot of tinfoil-hattedness about “Suspending elections” but that will never happen, you just won’t ever be able to vote for anyone not Approved. Using this cronyism, they have taken over our government and will never ever let it go. The Shadow Empire is well made, fully established, completely embedded, irretrievably attached to our little republic in a way that is probably impossible to change. And that’s the way uh huh uh huh they like it, and G-d bless you if you think anything you can say or do will change it. You probably cannot. The PURPOSE of the Occupy movement, which is overtly supported by the Shadow Empire, is their way of maintaining the illusion that individual freedom still exists and that activism can accomplish something meaningful. Meanwhile they are like a Black Friday turkey fart; loud, stinking, possibly diseased, and of no real value whatsoever. The irony is not lost on me that the “Occupy” folks are being supported by the occupation.

We have a few more years of the appearance of being a real republic, but soon enough it will all go to hell. Enjoy your illusion of freedom while you can; soon enough the Empire will strike back for our impertinence of thinking we can choose who or what we want. It’s already happening, think of Kelo, of the Indiana Supreme court decision against the fourth amendment, the list is getting longer and longer of the courts deciding in the favor of the ruling and against the ruled. Once upon a time, as a nation, we had a big pair of balls, and weren’t afraid to use them, either outside or inside our borders. These days, we like to think we still do, but all the viagra in the world won’t make us any less limp or impotent.

In all important elections, we will choose only those people they allow us to choose, and that’s an end of it. Disagree? Well, you’re wrong; either out of willful obtuseness or ignorance- if the former, I feel for you. If the latter, well, not much could have been done to help you anyway. It has already become complete and overt in europe- witness the Greek mess. Money quote:

Greek ex-Prime Minister Papandreou rather foolishly suggested the Greek people might like to influence their economic future in a democratic manner, only to be immediately toppled by the EU powers and replaced by Lucas Papademos, a man of impeccable Socialist economic credentials, who went from Governor of the Bank of Greece to Vice President of the European Central Bank (ECB) to Prime Minister of Greece. In other words an EU placeman in a previously democratic country.

Yes, this can be fixed. No, voting wont do it. At a national level, no wookie suited savior will come along and save the day, ever. No third party candidate will ever be elected. No outsider will ever make it to power and be able to change anything, ever. If you think I’m wrong, I’d love for you to prove it, but I wasn’t born yesterday. Morons on the left approve of this, and their money and influence has helped to create it. Morons on the right still “Believe” in the system of government, and are SURE if only the right lizard gets elected, well, then, everything will be OK.
