Keep them in your prayers
The folks on the east coast are going through some serious trouble right now, and what would merely inconvenience a Floridian could be devastating to a Manhattanite.
We don’t usually deal with earthquake in the midwest, and they don’t have blizzards in LA, and they don’t get debilitating ice storms in Ecuador. We can deal with the conditions we always deal with, and when something this unusual happens it’s hard to be prepared.
It would be easy to politicise this, as many already have. “Romney wants to cut FEMA!” but at the end of the day, people are suffering and they deserve our concern.
