50 years.
I have spent as an active participant in Christianity. 40 years since I entered the seminary. And I still have people tell me I’m wrong about every aspect of what’s going on in/with the church, mostly from people who haven’t been near a church in their adulthood. Their evidence of this? They think I’m wrong, and therefore, I’m wrong.
Stick with that. Let me know how that works out for you.

I’m not a Catholic, but I’d sit a pew with you anytime, anywhere, and be both humbled and proud to do so.
Faith is kind of like how the Supreme Court justice defined porn: “I can’t define it, but I know it when I see it.”
As regards faith, I’d say it fits you quite well, indeed.
