The bike is running, and looks like it’s gonna be fine.
Sunday I went to where it’s brother was parked in a DUMPSTER, and snagged a lot of spare parts, including the whole electrical harness, the engine, all the electronics, gauges, cables, wheels. Discovered that what was causing it to run erratically was a loose connector, and resolved that, now it starts in seconds and runs out nicely. I’m gonna probably have to buy some tires but otherwise I still have less than $100 invested.
Ze make and model of this scoot please?
Suzuki GS 450 T. Bought it at a garage sale last fall WITH an Arai helmet, for $25.
And Mrs. Og let you live?
Got me beat. I paid $450 for my 450 Nighthawk. Rode to work today & about froze my thumbs off. This afternoon’ll be beautiful, though.
Few more weeks & its big brother, the fire-breathing 900F Supersport, is on the road again. I’m starting to drool thinking about it.
