But here&#8217;s an exception: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.litrix.com\/canterby\/cante004.htm\">The Miller&#8217;s Tale<\/a>, by Geoffrey Chaucer. One of the Canterbury tales, it is perhaps the funniest, and is certainly the earliest example of fartblogging I have ever found. And now, like a lot of the classics, it&#8217;s available online. I read it in Middle English and was bored stiff, but the modern translation is excellent, without losing any of the flavor of the original.
