In years past we had little new years celebrations, friends and family, but this year we just stayed home and relaxed. On friday last I spent some time with some friends, a few of whom have their own blogs, but for the most part, I sat home. I could spend $24 and hunt for another six days, but it&#8217;s just not worth it, unless it snows very heavily. So all in all, the least expensiv (and most boring) holiday we&#8217;ve ever had. <\/p>\n<p>In other news my insurance has denied the funding for my surgery. I&#8217;m told this is common and that the doctor will write a letter detailing the reasons they should cover it. I&#8217;m keeping my fingers crossed. Certainly, the operation is one that costs more than my very first house, so no way will I be able to afford it myself.
