Excellent!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So yesterday I went to the range, to sight in a new scope, and discovered in the process that I need about .060 milled off the bottom of my rear scope base. Which I&#8217;ll have to do later in the week, when I can get some machine time. <\/p>\n<p>In the meantime I put some shims under the front and got close- but the shims allow the mount to move around, so I  will have to get the bases at exactly the correct height. It occurs to me that I might see if I can get undersized mounts and line bore them in place on the rifle. Anyone ever see those?  Also, I&#8217;m concerned that the scope isn&#8217;t getting twisted, so I was looking at the spherical bushing mounts.
