There were twenty of us, all told. It was very much as if a giant flock of gannets, or perhaps a swarm of locusts, had decended onto the Casa del Mom of Og. <\/p>\n<p>We ate like it, anyway.<\/p>\n<p>There was so goddamned much food i had no idea where it came from. People I didn&#8217;t even know were bringing in dishes. Twenty of us ate at banquettes in a 12 x 14 living room, WITH  the sofa, loveseat, and chairs. <\/p>\n<p>Afterwards, we ate candy and picked polystyrene grass from our teeth.<\/p>\n<p>Partner and I took long pulls on a big bottle of cockburns ruby port.
