As the wife was leaving this morning, she closed the garage door and backed out of the driveway- unfortunately, the cat tried to duck under the door just before it closed, and got caught under the door. I have photoeyes but the eyes are about 8″ from the floor, and the cat was already under that.<\/p>\n
No broken ribs, some bruising. I’m just glad I didn’t leave before her, so I managed to catch it before too long.<\/p>\n
I’m not a big fan of kitties, but I don’t wish any harm on Cooney. he’s at the vet for observation, and hopefully OK, but keep a happy thought anyway, if you would. <\/p>\n
UPDATE: <\/strong>Cooney seems to be fine. He’s moving around on his own and eating and drinking normally. THe vet gave him some juice earlier and he slept peacefully a while, we’re instructed to keep him caged so he can’t wander or jump. he’s not happy about that, but he’s ok.
