Well let me tell a story
\nbout a guy named Og
\nhad a stupid orange cat
\nand a furniture eating dog<\/p>\n
he was up one day
\njust a reading of his blog
\nand he saw him a pic
\nof an overgrowed hog. <\/p>\n
Wait, that didn’t go anywhere I wanted it to go.<\/p>\n
I had spent friday evening as the guest of the DuToits, so Saturday Morning I got up and helped pack, loaded as much stuff into the Exploder as it would hold, and headed off for Ferris Texas. <\/p>\n
Once there, I realized that I was going to get muddy. Perhaps very muddy. So standing on the shingletab in the parking lot, I changed into my “truck clothes” a change of clothes i keep in the truck specific to the purpose of getting filthy. <\/p>\n
And filthy I got. <\/p>\n
Who cares? I was shooting, and I was loving it. I went through several courses of fire, and while my shooting may not have been the best, I at least made it all the way through. And I think I didn’t do so badly. One thing I was happy to see, was that (other than having to snug up a rear sight) the 45 shot perfectly the whole day. <\/p>\n
I enjoyed it well enough that I found a local place that does IDPA shoots. I will be checking it out next month. <\/p>\n
Anyway, there was good food, good company, good shooting, and all in all, more fun than I should ever have had. I think I sprained my fun glands. I’m hoping next time I remember to stretch first. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
