The sucker jammed every time you jacked a shell in, and it dawned on me that the cartridge stop wasn&#8217;t anywhere near the cartridge. It was still set for a 30-30 shell, and the short size of the 44 mag shell would allow about one and a half shells in the pre-battery position.<\/p>\n<p>So I glued in a spacer.<\/p>\n<p>And it worked like a charm. I jacked ten rounds through it in quick sucession. <\/p>\n<p>I was so tickled I could have cried. And then the glue broke off and it jammed again. But i know what I have to do, and now I&#8217;ll pin the spacer in place.
