I don’t intend to repeat this.

In the little town where I misspent my youth, there were three major roads leading into town.

These roads each had a sign at the city limits. Nice, big billboard looking things- they had the Kiwanis emblem painted on them, the Rotary emblem, the seal of the chamber of commerce. The names of all four major churches and two smaller ones. Big professionally handpainted letters said “Welcome to Littletown” Big professionally handpainted letters that said “Nigger don’t let the sun set on you here”

The town was a bedroom community. Most of the people who lived there, worked in the steel mills, or in one of the auto factories within driving distance. Most of them were transplants- old school “southern democrats” who had come to the north seeking employment. As the families grew they became integrated into the community.

The county seat, five miles away, had Klan rallies when I was a kid. Oh, wait, they still have klan rallies now- or at least, as recently as 2000. Yes, the county seat is still a host to Klan rallies. There are usually national guardsmen there, to keep these morons from hurting anyone, or being hurt themselves. You see a few cops, but not too many. You used to never see a cop. You did see lots of cruisers parked close to the downtown area, and if you watched long enough, you’d often see a cop getting into one, throwing his hood and cape into the back seat.

These Old Schoolers made sure that no affordable housing was available in certain neighborhoods, made sure “they” were kept on welfare, dependant, and incapale of bettering themselves. No cross was ever burned, nor horsewhipping done, nor anything else- unless one of ‘them” got “uppity”

Then you saw some fireworks.
When I was a kid, it wasn’t burning crosses, it was slit tires. Or broken windshields, or worse. Cut brake lines, or cut house power. A word to the boss- if they worked in the steel mills they would never get a position above day labor, etc.

I saw all this with my own eyes. I saw racisim of the worst and ugliest types, in an area which prided itself on being full of “old southern democrats”. I saw the nastiness and decided, I would never be a party to it.

Condi rice, to the liberals of today, is “uppity”. She doesn’t deserve the post. She was given the position because of politics. She’s a Bush “House ni**er”.

To me, she’s the best person for the job. The people bitching about her reveal themselves for exactly what they are. Racist scumbags out of the last century.
Will the old media out them for this? No.

But I will. And so will every other right thinking blogger.

Condi is a brilliant woman who worked hard to get where she is. Let her do her job.

OK, lissenup folks. I don’t intend to repeat this.
