The actual turn signals are on the outside of the vehicle, where other people can see them. The &#8220;turn signal switch&#8221; controls these signals, and it allows other people to know when you are about to turn, or change lanes, for instance- it&#8217;s almost as if THEY CAN READ YOUR MIND! You must co-operate, though, for this to happen. Now here are some instructions for you, lest you become confused. <\/p>\n<p>If you are turning left, push the little lever down. It will click into position and a little light on your dashboard will begin to flash. DON&#8217;T PANIC! this is just a little light to show you the whole system is working. And when you have made your turn, the switch will TURN ITSELF OFF AGAIN AUTOMATICALLY!!!  It&#8217;s as if it were MAGIC! <\/p>\n<p>Now. The hard part. If you are turning right, push the little lever UP. It will click into position and a little light on your dashboard will begin to flash. DON&#8217;T PANIC! this is just a little light to show you the whole system is working. And when you have made your turn, the switch will TURN ITSELF OFF AGAIN AUTOMATICALLY!!!
