And then at THREE, the GODDAMNED FIRE ALARM WENT OFF.<\/p>\n
I hit the alarm clock. I picked up the phone, I wandered naked around the room screaming “WHAT IS THAT NOISE AND HOW DO I MAKE IT STOP”<\/p>\n
I witnessed about forty people milling around in the parking lot half naked. THe alarm went off. I went back to bed. Missed or slept through my wake up call. And went to work three hours late, so I ended up staying three hours late to get the job done. <\/p>\n
Driving through the dead center of Indiana, brown grass, no leaves.. all pretty depressing. Fall usually puts a dread sort of melancholy on me, but early spring, before any green rears its head, well, that’s just depressing. Driving through Indy, thinking of Tam<\/a> and Roberta<\/a> and Nathan<\/a> nearby, and thinking of possibly getting together with them and shooting, cheered me up some, but I didn’t feel whole until I pulled in the garage and saw the Oglet waiting for me at the kitchen door. <\/p>\n Good to be back.
