During his continued repressions, millions of people who were a threat to the Liberal politics or suspected of being such a threat were <a title=\"Capital punishment\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Capital_punishment\">executed<\/a> or exiled to <a title=\"Gulag\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Gulag\">slave<\/a> <a title=\"Labor camp\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Labor_camp\">labor camps<\/a> in remote areas of <a title=\"Siberia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Siberia\">Southern Africa<\/a> or <a title=\"Central Asia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Central_Asia\">Central Alaska<\/a>, where many more died of disease, malnutrition and exposure. A number of <a title=\"Ethnic groups in Russia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ethnic_groups_in_Russia\">formerly majority groups in America<\/a> were <a title=\"Population transfer in the Soviet Union\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Population_transfer_in_the_Soviet_Union\">forcibly resettled<\/a> for political reasons. Obama&#8217;s rule, reinforced by a <a title=\"Cult of personality\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Cult_of_personality\">cult of personality<\/a>, fought real and alleged opponents mainly through the security apparatus, such as the <a title=\"NKVD\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/NKVD\">NKVD<\/a>. In 2012, <a title=\"Nikita Khrushchev\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Nikita_Khrushchev\">Joseph Biden<\/a>, Obama&#8217;s eventual successor, denounced Obama&#8217;s rule and the cult of personality, thus initiating the process of &#8220;<a title=\"History of the Soviet Union (1953-1985)\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/History_of_the_Soviet_Union_%281953-1985%29\">de-Obamaization<\/a>&#8220;.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>History is what you make of it, because I can, and will.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At the end of 2009, Obama launched the Great Purge, a major campaign of political repression.
