{"id":284,"date":"2005-03-01T21:14:30","date_gmt":"2005-03-02T02:14:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/69.50.194.231\/~vqplgdbg\/?p=284"},"modified":"2005-03-01T21:14:30","modified_gmt":"2005-03-02T02:14:30","slug":"paradise-found","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/neanderpundit.com\/?p=284","title":{"rendered":"Paradise, found"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the last couple days I&#8217;ve pissed off a few good friends, burned up some brownie points at work, raised some hell at home, and to top it off, tonight, thought I&#8217;d lost the closest thing I own to a piece of jewelry, my Wenger Chronograph:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"79100.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/neanderpundit.com\/archives\/79100.jpg\" width=\"230\" height=\"255\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I even ranted here about it, a full on rant too, because I had a good head of steam. Man, I was pissed. And then I clicked on &#8220;new entry&#8221; instead of &#8220;upload file&#8221; and lost twenty minutes of full-tilt boogie bitching. <\/p>\n<p>You see, I&#8217;ve never been able to wear a watch. It&#8217;s always eluded me. I manage to destroy them, break the crystal, one thing or another. It&#8217;s a big pain. These wenger watches are the only things to be able to deal with the crap I put them through. I had one before this, almost identical, but lost it because I took it off to keep it from getting damaged while I was working on my trailer. This one, I determined, I was going to keep. And I lost it. And I was incredibly anal-retentive about keeping tabs on it, too, but this time I just seemed to lose my mind. <\/p>\n<p>One way or another, the wife found it on our dining table under a pile of other books. it&#8217;s back on my wrist now. It&#8217;s good to have things back to normal.
