Class was actually pretty good, the material covered similar to an NRA class. The instructor was a good guy, showed off examples of every kind of gun (though he missed single action. I don’t think too many people would conceal carry an SA) <\/p>\n
he had a couple things wrong, he said a Weaver stance was where you weave back and forth. I restrained myself. <\/p>\n
He got the four rules right. He got most of the Modern Technique right. <\/p>\n
Bottomline is I have my permit application stamped and I’lll be getting the utah Concealed Carry in the mail in a couple months. <\/p>\n
I also managed to bank the rest of the cash I had leftover from the gunshow, and got some heavy wool blankets to cover my office windows, after having received last month’s $480 heating bill. SHeesh. <\/p>\n
