I have had the Hoppes one, which is the purest shite. I have a small Remington<\/a> LED light which is semi-OK, though sometimes too bright. I saw an LED light at Cabelas the other day, and it had 9 LED’s. I cannot IMAGINE how much fun it would be to have NINE LED’S MELTING MY RETINAS. Partner routinely carries an LED\/Laserpoointer combo <\/a>with which we have both temporarily blinded ourselves. <\/p>\n Ideally, I suppose what I’d like to put my hands on would be a bulb type with a rheostat that could be adjusted, and possibly even with colored filters. I know that I find it easier to look at stainless or chromed barrels with a little bluish light, while orange seems to be optimal for blued barrels. I have used the lightpipe that comes in the OTIS kits and it’s not bad, but it’s still not the best. <\/p>\n Probably a pipe dream, but if anyone has seen what I describe I would be indebted. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" where I can find a decent borelight?
