I doubt that, though. My mediocre hopes for the election were completely justified <\/p>\n<p>Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.<\/p>\n<p>I looked at all the libertarian candidates, but I haven&#8217;t smoked enough dope in my lifetime to make any of them attractive except as &#8220;not A or B&#8221;. After I voted I dropped the daughter off at school. She asked, &#8220;What are libertarians?&#8221; After explaining as best as I could, trying very hard not to give her any prejudices where non exist yet, she said &#8216;No. If Republicans are Elephants and Democrats are jackasses (her words) what are libertarians?
