{"id":4133,"date":"2011-01-19T05:00:42","date_gmt":"2011-01-19T10:00:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/neanderpundit.com\/?p=4133"},"modified":"2011-01-19T05:00:42","modified_gmt":"2011-01-19T10:00:42","slug":"spank-no-more","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/neanderpundit.com\/?p=4133","title":{"rendered":"Spank no more."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One of my favorite &#8220;Small&#8221; music groups, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.asylumstreetspankers.com\/\">Asylum Street Spankers<\/a>, are quitting.<\/p>\n<p>They&#8217;re doing the &#8220;Spanks for everything&#8221; farewewll tour, and though I&#8217;ve never seen them in personl, I may try to see them in Chicago this february. <\/p>\n<p>What brought me to the Spankers first, was the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=VkfJbsTOtqg\">Scrotum song<\/a>. Eventually I stumbled on other gems, like Jenny linked to in an earlier post, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Qa-QUaqUN3w\">leafblower<\/a><\/p>\n<p>My favorite, of course, is Christina Mars singing &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=jQ_AwAtB09M\">Tain&#8217;t nobodys business<\/a>&#8220;, which is a good beer swilling eye wiping broke breaking up with your significant other song. <\/p>\n<p>They&#8217;re political morons, of course, you can&#8217;t expect entertainers to have any idea how the world works outside dopesmoking and playing music in bars, but you have to get past that and just enjoy the music.
