before I could even hang the fixtures I found a problem: the fixtures are drilled and counterbored for 1\/2′ bolts and the mounting surface has 16mm bolt holes. <\/p>\n
Now, lest you have to drag out your calculator, 16mm is bigger than 1\/2″, the bolts won’t even go through. <\/p>\n
BIG problem. We cannot alter the fixtures, and to have a new set of tables made for the mill could take months. So I do a little digging. <\/p>\n
The bolt pattern on the fixture should still work, with a little finagling. And I find a company that has threaded bushings that are 16mm on the outside and 1\/2″-13 on the inside. They are made by a customer. And carried by Fastenal. Who will be delivering a box to me first thing in the ayem.<\/p>\n
