I consider it rude to be too snarky in anyone’s blog, let alone the Esteemed Mrs Du Toit.

Here’s the thing: when I was in seminary we spent the better part of a year studying Islamic cultures and reading the Koran. I still read the Koran regularly.

There is a large movement by the MSM to humanize Islam, to make it seem a peaceful religion. Frankly, I’m not buying it, and you shouldn’t either.

Mrs Du Toit speaks about Religion being a motivator in the way poor people choose their paths in life. In this country, in MANY countries, people look to their spiritual advisors and live lives of industry and devotion. There’s a huge difference in Islam.

In islam, there are still people who live lives of industry and devotion; however, their industry is based on the practice of deception, there are no disincentives to treat unbelievers any way they want. I have seen this in several circumstances, and I can tell you, the muslims in the specific instances I experienced were wastes of human flesh, the worst, the very worst, people I have ever met. No member of any other religion has EVER treated me with the outright disrespect of these guys- and ONE of them mistreated my company so badly that we lost a huge order (several millions of dollars), and then moved to another company to do the same thing to us AGAIN. Good news is, our work and our reputation got us back into both of those companies afterwards, and they are now loyal customers, who bemoan the time they had those specific employees. They were neither poor nor specifically well off, there was NO OTHER MOTIVATING FACTOR FOR THEIR BEHAVIOR aside from their belief system.

Here’s my concern: In every country where Islam has reached critical mass, they have attempted to impose sharia and murder or enslave or subdue any other population. In some of these areas, christianity and other beliefs are tolerated (barely) but in most there is clear disdain for, and attempt to remove, any infidels. Look at ths site, and tell me what you think. Tell me if these are peaceful people who can coexist with everyone else.

Update: Mrs D puts a copy of a tattered koran in the same post as a pile of burnt Hebrew prayerbooks.

Two issues are at work here.
1: The hebrew religion, by the era of Krystallnacht, was already a peaceful religion with a peaceful history. Islam is not. And has never been.
2: No hebrew prayerbook has ever included the passage “When you confront in battle those who disbelieve, slash their necks until you have routed them and then secure the rest with firm knots”. This is not an isolated passage of the koran but it’s constant and repetitive message. Read it for yourself.

I have no tolerance for those who would force their religion upon me, be it scientology, calvinisim, buddhisim, or atheisim. Alone among the worlds religions, Islam expects surrender or death. I’ll tolerate anyone who lives their life in peace and woships according to their own desires with no designs upon me. Islam has proved through it’s history that it has designs upon everyone, and it’s core tenets urge it’s believers to expand until everyone is a muslim or dead.

Any feeling that Islam can be tolerated without being completely neutered defines naivete. So long as agents of Islam have the ability to wage a terrorist war they will do so. If anyone can prove otherwise, I will bundle up my guns and hand deliver them to a blast furnace to be destroyed, and then become a democrat.

I’m not going to hold my breath.

There’s an interesting discussion going on at Mrs Du Toit’s place.
