The receiver was purchased for $75 out the door at the last Indy 1500. I was filling out the 73 when Tam wandered by and smacked the inside of her arm- “The first hit is free!” Well, it wasn’t quite free, but it was cheap. The day after i sold the zook to Ed Hering<\/a> I sent a check off to Sarco for one of their parts kits.<\/a> <\/p>\n The parts kit has been assembled; it went together like butter. I cannot, of course, install the gas tube or properly install the forend until I tighten the barrel nut, and I haven’t yet staked the gas key, but I hope to have both those things done before next weekend, when I intend to do some shooting. <\/p>\n The function check on the hammer and disconnect is flaky, I’m digging around for info on that but I am not surprised as the kit is very inexpensive; I expect a little work or better quality parts will fix it, I will find out soon. <\/p>\n Anyway, yeah. $485 for an M4gery.
