it was a couple year old Quattroporte, but it was obviously someone not afraid to drive, there was a little ding in one rim and curb crease in one of the rockers. It was an old man color- I think they call it ‘Alfa grey’ and the front rims were mostly brake dust. To me, all the signs of someone who appreciates the car and uses it hard. <\/p>\n
So why was he letting me pass him? I was on the outside and it was a big sweeping curve, he had me by speed, agility, and ponies.<\/p>\n
And then I saw them. A black Ford 500 with gummmint tags, about a half mile ahead, and another, about a half mile behind. I looked to my left, he looked at me, and he was clearly not pleased. he was being herded, and didn’t seem to be happy about the herding. Poor bugger. I hope he wasn’t in too much trouble.
