I know all of you who read here will, indeed, remember. Telling you to remember is a waste of time. <\/p>\n<p>Today, I plant flowers, work on household projects, read quietly. Life lived properly is a prayer, ask anyone who has lived in a monastery or been on a monastic retreat. Do your work, but meditate on the life you have, and those who sacrifice, and sacrifice a little of yourself- your vanity, your pride, your ego. Be humble and go about your day as if your days work was a prayer, and soon enough it will be.<\/p>\n<p>I am constantly minded about how nobody else seems to want to do the things I do. And it used to boggle me, because what I do is not difficult. Then it dawned on me that it is not difficult because I work as if it were prayer, and to people on the outside, it seems like a miracle. <\/p>\n<p>Perhaps it is. Try it a while.
