They had a Bible Baptist preacher do the service, which was very nice. I’ve been to funerals of every denomination, and as a general rule, they tend to at least try to be uplifting and not nasty. Guy couldn’t help himself but to throw in a couple commercials near the end, but all in all, it was a good thing. Only muslims at Christian funerals have any nastiness, and even then, not many of them.You’re more likely to find your aunt Sophie kneeing your cousin Mike in the groin. <\/p>\n
Christianity isn’t about what church you belong to, but how good a Christian you are. I know more than a few Atheists who are excellent Christians, at least in their actions. And the world is overflowing with people who call themselves Christians who wouldn’t know one if it jumped up and bit them in the ass. <\/p>\n
All in all, it was very pleasing to see a small group of diverse people who came together to honor the passing of a man, and put their individual selves aside and displayed their better angels.
