I made the poor wife sit through “People will talk” a couple of weeks ago, and she decided to hunt up some other Carey Grant Movies. Last night she watched “Charade” and loved it. <\/p>\n
I always have, too, Audrey’s flirty dialogue in “Charade” makes my pants fly around the room, I’ll tell you. But Audrey could read me the phone book and I’d be entertained beyond belief. <\/p>\n
In her last film, “Always” she acts as a sort of a guide, helping the newly dead transition to the afterlife. I gotta tell you, if Audrey meets me after I die, COME GET ME NOW. In fact, I think I’mna reccomend “Always” to the wife next. I do like this a lot better than hearingthe strained applause of “Whose got America’s Next Dancing idol” coming from the next room. <\/p>\n
No, I won’t watch “Always” with her. Between the dangerously petite Holly Hunter (Why is it that big guys always have a hardon<\/strike> soft spot for the tiny girls? ) and the ethereal Audrey, combined with Dreyfuss mooning around about never having been able to say “I love you” when he was alive, it’s just too hard to watch.
