Gross’ burgers<\/a> doesn’t have a website. It looks like it was a gas station at one time in it’s past. It is run by a Jarhead who has decorated the place with militaria- including bayonets, the front end of a flatfender Jeep, a BAR, a lot of stripper clips and live rounds. There isn’t a lot of places to sit and eat, but even if you get it and eat it in your car you will not be disapointed. I had the “All American” which is a triple meat burger- the patties are fried thin and crisp on the edges- and the fries are garlicky and taste to have been fried in beef tallow rather than oil. Werner and I went there after a morning of blowing shit up and cutting wood; the HK MP5 22 was a straight-up hoot to shoot, and I might have to borrow it from him to do an appleseed this upcoming summer. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"but not that damned often.
