I marinated, skewered and grilled deer, chicken, shrimps. I made california rolls, half a dozen different finger foods, etc. I had a couple bottles of nice wine, including a good sauternes, one of my personal vices- (Though I&#8217;ve saved the drinking of that for today)and we ate and drank and talked and laughed the new year in. In 05 I buried a few family members, met some people IRL that I&#8217;ve known online a long time, watched the world change, watched my child grow.
