Steve has been having a good time talking about his tools, what he’s buying, what he has. I have been having some fun at his expense about the workbench, but I do enjoy talking tools, and I’m sure there are a few others out there who do as well. So I thought I’d post some pictures of my tools, just for the hell of it.<\/p>\n

I didn’t clean or straighten anything up, either, as should be obvious. This is how the stuff always is, and I can find anything in the toolbox in a second.

Drawer one. Top drawer. has the magical property of knowing if I need a phillips or slotted screwdriver, and being full of the other one.<\/p>\n

Two. Measuring tools. And a hopkins & allen falling block riflke action. <\/p>\n

Three. odd size drills and small specialty tools<\/p>\n

Four. Box wrenches and flare nut wrenches<\/p>\n

Five. 1\/4 and 3\/8 drive sockets. SOme missing. Thank the nephew. <\/p>\n

Six. 1\/2″ sockets. You can never have too many rachets. <\/p>\n

seven. Oil filter wrenches and odds and ends. <\/p>\n

Eight. Taps and dies<\/p>\n

nine. fasteners and odds and ends.<\/p>\n

Ten. Wire labels and comestables. <\/p>\n

Eleven. BIG standard box wrenches<\/p>\n

twelve. Big metric box wrenches<\/p>\n

Thirteen. 1\/4″ and 3\/8″ deepwell sockets.<\/p>\n

Forteen. Half inch deepwells. And a big hammer. <\/p>\n

Fifteen. Levels, impact tools, hammers. Macpherson strut spring compressors. Ball joint separators. Valve spring compressors. piston ring compressors and ridge reamers. <\/p>\n
