I could see how he trained them, too, lots of little petty meannesses and they were all evidently quite unhappy. One came over to me and I petted it, it&#8217;s matter filled eyes peering up and me, and as I tried to comfort it the gypsy kid came over and put his finger in the orbit of my eye, just under my brow, lifted my head up, wagged a finger at me and condescendingly said &#8220;My dog&#8221;. <\/p>\n<p>Faster than I could ever have moved in real life I grabbed his wrist and said &#8220;Not anymore&#8221; and broke his forearm off. he screamed but I stood and grabbed him by the throat, silencing him; the dogs all ran to me and I threw him like a ragdoll onto his platform.
