A woman in a cube says “You must be a big one”. She turns in my direction and I realize she is blind or severely vision impaired. <\/p>\n

“Oh, you didn’t make any noise at all, really. I could feel the vibrations in the floor”<\/p>\n

This in a BIG manufacturing facility where a lot of stuff is going on, and the floors are concrete at least a foot thick everywhere.<\/p>\n

I get a certain amount of shit for “Sneaking up” on people, so I go out of my way to deliberately make noise as I walk, especially at work, and the hardwood floors at home do not mask any noise, but damn. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
