She&#8217;s a killer chef (not a cook, a CHEF, in the classical tradition) and she is dangerous to be around. Sowanyway,we went to Cicero today, to engage in a little petty gluttony at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.klasrestaurant.com\/\">Klas<\/a>, one of my personal favorite restaurants, a dining room filled with blackforest carvings and food that makes you stand and sing &#8220;deutschland deutschland uber alles&#8221;. Actually, the place is Czech operated, but man, is it tasty. I had sauerbraten und spaetzel, wife had a mutant chicken cordon bleu- I say mutant because the chicken this breast came from must have been the size of an ostrich. Let&#8217;s not forget the liver dumpling soup (the brotherinlaw&#8217;s wife says there is only one trouble, the bowl is too small!!)<\/p>\n<p>As much as we semi-stuffed ourself, we were fine afterwards, I think because this is the food of our ancestors, our guts used to digesting it, from an entre race. Seldom do I enjoy going out so much. If you&#8217;re in town, consider Klas.
