My brother in law and his wife are in from out of town again. She’s a killer chef (not a cook, a CHEF, in the classical tradition) and she is dangerous to be around. Sowanyway,we went to Cicero today, to engage in a little petty gluttony at Klas<\/a>, one of my personal favorite restaurants, a dining room filled with blackforest carvings and food that makes you stand and sing “deutschland deutschland uber alles”. Actually, the place is Czech operated, but man, is it tasty. I had sauerbraten und spaetzel, wife had a mutant chicken cordon bleu- I say mutant because the chicken this breast came from must have been the size of an ostrich. Let’s not forget the liver dumpling soup (the brotherinlaw’s wife says there is only one trouble, the bowl is too small!!)<\/p>\n

As much as we semi-stuffed ourself, we were fine afterwards, I think because this is the food of our ancestors, our guts used to digesting it, from an entre race. Seldom do I enjoy going out so much.
