There is plenty of good news out there.
The gist: The Republicans lost because they turned away from conservativism and its principles. That’s good news, because conservative and libertarian values are of obvious import to many voters.
The bad news is, of course, that R’s turned away from conservativism and its principles. They ran on those values, and reneged after the fact.
