Well, dammit, I did it.
I went out yesterday and voted.
In indiana, you have to declare your party to vote in the primary- but apparently you can re-declare each time.
So I went and voted in the primary, and then I went home, and scrubbed myself down with a bar of Lava soap, until my skin glowed. I haven’t felt that dirty in ages.
But I voted. Did you?

Yup. I did some scrubbing when I got home too.
Sometimes ya have to take one for the team.
Yup. Same dirty deed.
(Heard on the news that 75% of the voters in my county did the same mysterious switcharoo.)
Nope. In TN, you don’t have to register with any party, UNLESS you vote in the primary. It isn’t the .gov’s business whom I intend to vote for.
Besides that, I ain’t wheeling this damned chair into an abbatoir–I mean a polling place. I’ll be on my feet again for the general, & I’ll vote then. Just not for any of the Main Three.
I hear Bob Barr may run in the Libertarian spot. If so, I’ll vote them again. Just can’t do McLiberal. Once he shat upon the 1st Amendment, that tore it.
Nope, ’cause Oregon’s primary hasn’t happened just yet.
I have mailed my ballot, but since I’m registered Independent, I only got to do local issues and a Mayor/City Council election.
(And I have the “happy” fact of living in Oregon to make it not matter who I vote for for President, since the state as a whole will Reliably Go Blue.)
I did, but thankfully I had a good to vote Republican in 5th District, namely to support NRA “A” rated incumbents in the primary.
Illinois didn’t have an election, but when ours was held back in January you could do the same thing. Come to find out after the fact that many of the Dems switched party to vote for the republican candidate because “Illinois was a lock for Obama”. Stupid McCain.
Yep. Did the same.
Now I need to go visit a priest.
Hopefully he will fondle me.
it is your unwavering desire to do the right thing for the greater good that makes you so endearing.
although, i’m not certain who you voted for. all three choices would make me feel scaley.
but thanks for your service to our country, i mean it.
