Substance

is an admirable thing in a friend, an elected official, a pedagogue.

Farts, not so much.

Trouble is, (you know I had to jam on the Obvious Button), most elected officials have no more substance than a fart in a windstorm.

I know some politicians with actual substance, but I didn’t mention that in the post, just said that the quality was desireable in them. Nobody reads anymore.
