The short version of my multiple-site-already comment on the INTERPOL thing, mainly for cond0010’s benefit:
They’re not a police force. They don’t arrest people.
This EO doesn’t, really, change a god damn thing, in practice.

So… what does Interpol got that our CIA/FBI/NSA etc… doesn’t have other than being located in Fwance and is not affiliated with our Government not is our citizens rights first in their eyes as internatioanl law levels the playing field for corrupt tin pot dictators to get their stab at our citizens?
Sounds like a wonderful platform for espionage, also. I recall that Fwance was one of 3 countries undermining the food for oil program that was set up against the Saddam Hussein regime (among many other things they have done) – and they did not get taken to the woodshed by the ‘international’ Interpol agency.
Frankly, Interpol strikes me as a French CIA/KGB dressed up as a idyllic humanitarian agency to help bring about world justice.
Fwench international politics is also synonymous with the word ‘Weasel’.
Hopefully, the next Republican President will stop up this hole before Interpol/FwenchCIA gains a foothold here.
…oh and thanks for the update, Sigivald, but it doesn’t change the fact that George Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld and other ‘International War Criminals’ need to watch their backs being that another countries agency (oops!!! I mean a “World International Agency”) can move with impunity and immunity within our sovereign nation.

I’m not sure whare you took your law degree at bu any organization that is granted primacy over any other and cannot be investigated by any other natonal agency is in a position to do great harm.
There are many decrees being made my this administration that are so reminiscint of what happend to germany in the twenties it almost looks like a replay. Obama is setting us up so that he can step in the next highest office. President of the world.
Of course to do that he needs to shut down the only superpower and he knows how to do that best from the office of the president. That was the wet dream of every socialist and anarchist that I heard in the 70’s.
You, Sigivald, may think all is well and you will come out on top, but I wouldn’t bet on it.
