Gotta lay off the shrooms
Woke up in a cold sweat this morning after having dreampt I was the Skipper on Gilligans Island, moping around about my inability to safely pilot a boat around the florida coast.
Tam and Bobbi X were Ginger and MaryAnne. Shooting Buddy was the professor. Turk Turon and Brigid were Mr and Mrs Howell. And Caleb was Gilligan.
For some reason the island was overrun by armadillos, and I was catching them and killing them, while the professor used the hides to make concertinas. Mr Howell was figuring a way to market them as soon as we got off the island.
Finally, in the end, I redeemed myself as Skipper by asking the film crew to give us a lift back to the mainland. Just as we get to the shore we beach the boat on the bloated remains of L Ron Hubbard, who I just discovered was indeed buried at sea. Though I thought it was just ashes.

I thought my dreams were weird.
This reminds me of the dreams I have whenever I read John Ringo novels.
Funny!
I’ll be Thurston Howell any day, but Tam in sequins? I dunno….
On the other hand, Shootin’ Buddy can make guns out of coconuts, unlike the Professor on the TV show who was a total lame.
If you dream of a “Blog-cast” for The Beverly Hillbillies, please let me be Mr. Drysdale, the banker. As for who would play Granny and Ellie Mae, that’s entirely up to you; I don’t want my fingerprints on THAT decision!
I am not saying which was which, under any circumstances.
Smart man.
Freak…
Re the “Hillbillies” … may I be Jethro?? *always wanted to be a “double-ott” agent*.
And I like your dreams, they make mine seem so laid back, in a mildly sociopathic way.
Damn…. had me howling for a moment… :-)
I’m totally claimin’ the role of Granny — she was always my favorite character anyway and Tam’s the only one of us blonde enough to be Ellie Mae.
Getcherself to a “Doc in a Box” to get your blood glucose level checked. Or just ask a diabetic friend. Sounds like your sugars crashed. Mine do that from time to time when I’m not careful with insulin dosages and timing.

I check my sugar pretty regularly. I think most of this has to do with my needing a checkup from a neckup.
Good drugs, maaaaan.
Well, I’m glad it’s nothing too serious. It just sounded a lot like my dreams when my sugars crash. Not all that disturbing, but weird, like a Picasso painting as a short film in 3-D.
