You’re s’posed to keep your ammo in a dry place ain’tcha?
I mistakenly ran a speed strip with 5 Buffalo Bore 158 gr HP SWCs through the washer AND dryer. Believe it or not, they all went bang just fine, to my surprise.
An expensive mistake.

I’ve accidentally sent it through the washer before, but never the dryer. Makes a horrible racket, especially in a front-loader.

In the dryer it just goes “bang” once. per cartridge. And if the cartridge is big enough, burns a hole in the pocket.

I have found that the bullet sometimes chips the paint on the dryer drum….
Pistol bullets do less damage than rifle bullets when the cartridges go off.
Don’t ask me how I know.
I’d laugh, but I’ve come reeeeeally close to doing just that.
With .44 rem mag, no less….
