I wonder sometimes why more people don’t emigrate to the USA from Noo Yawk. My Daughter and Son-in-law escaped from the E. Coast last Fall and are happy, happy, happy to be in Wa. State. Liberal, yes, but not yet a totalitarian nanny state. We at least have open carry, shall issue concealed, and State pre-emption. No limits on sizes of slushies and the like so far. One other thing, for a lib infested place every time there’s an iniative gun control push it gets voted down 60-40. The last one was financed by Bill (haaaakk, spitt) Gates. So all in all, not too bad a place politically and quite gun friendly. A couple of quite good fun shows each month too.

When “Big Gulps” are outlawed, only outlaws will have “Big Gulps”.

Speaking as someone who works in NYC, Bloomberg is a statist turd who really believes he should be able to tell everyone else what to do because he knows what’s right.
Man, when I lived in Cedar Rapids, I’d go play D&D every other Saturday, and on my way there I used to love going to the convenience store down the street from my apartment for a “double quart” of Pepsi. 64 ounce cup, half a gallon of Pop for about a buck forty–and it would last me most of the session. I actually bought a special cupholder so I could transport the damned things, because they would NOT fit in the regular cupholder and holding them between my legs gave me frostbite of the nether bits in summertime. (Also, manual transmission.)
Which came first, fat kids or the nanny state? My $$$ are on the nanny state causing fat kids. Think about it.

If the law passes, all those New Yorkers will be forced to make their own brew from powder crystals at home and carry it around in 64 oz. Igloo coolers. Then they will discover that with the money the save, they can now afford smokes again. I’d rather drink my own homemade Kool Aid than Bloomberg’s, anyway.
Rivrdog is right – since the government got into the “everything you eat is bad, so change” business, we’ve had this fat thing.

Screw him sideways with a rusty chainsaw.
Statist turds all are the same. The law is for you, not for me.
I hate to paint all government employees with the same brush, but the government seems to be the home of the liberal elite.
Man do I hate them.
I have a 64-oz. cup from a 2Go store in MN. Thinking about making a run to get it filled, just in case.
