Sorry to be a downer. Wait, no I’m not.

I’m dealing with some sinus issues here for which I saw a new ENT a couple weeks back. he sent me home with some steroids and some antibiotics, and the combination of the two is really annoying me. The steroids keep me from sleeping and the antibiotics are powerful enough that they seem to be actually going out of my body and curing people around me of their illnesses. Combine that with a bucketload of work over the weekend and I feel like a barrel of shit.

I took the last of the Easter ham and cooked it with some great northern beans and the bone and some onion and potato. The stuff was pretty poisonous, so I tried to eat it all Friday night to protect the wife and daughter from it’s evil.

Friday night and Saturday morning I felt like I had eaten a medicine ball. And the grenade effect Saturday morning was not pretty either. All that soluble fiber turned me into the play-doh fun factory of poo. You don’t want to know.
