On the way to work,

I pass by a park- actually, only a few blocks from my office.

In the early summertime, the local girls HS track team runs there in the morning. Some of these girls are my daughter’s age, I feel creepy just driving there, so I avoid the place until mid august when I know they’re gone.

Today I drove past to find the boys track team running.

And a line of Escalades and G-wagons and cayennes and land rovers, each with it’s own fortysomething and fiftysomething cougar, all smoking, all watching the boys plod by.

Good lord, ladies. Be a little more discreet.

Now, for the first time in the midwest:

Indian midgets in hooter’s shorts pole dancing like fucktards to freaky music

Car repair party!

Just spent an amusing couple hours with Ed Hering of Atomic Fungus. He’s as engaging and amusing in real life as he is on the blog, and has a great grin. He also has conversations with inanimate objects and has more knowledge of electronics than anyone should dare. In other words, he’s one of us. it was great to meet him in the flesh and cool to work with him.

A car repair party is just one of those things gearheads do- get together, bring something that needs to be fixed, and fix it.

Ed wins this round, because he actually accomplished what he set out to do, unlike me, who only managed to change six of eight plugs. I’ll get him next time!! Muhahahaha!!!
