Doing the bulk of the laundry now, that the trip home not be hundreds and hundreds of miles whiffing rank clothing. Into the laundromat stroll a youngish couple, he a whiskered slab of man with pectoral muscles like sides of beef, she all legs and shorts and hoodie. They proceed to load up a washer with NOTHING and watch it run, and at the end of its cycle move the NOTHING into a dryer and dry it.
And people call me strange.
Usually, I’m well past my morning shit/shower/shave, dressed, and had a coffee before I sit down to the computer to check mail and prep for the day ahead, preliminary to my drive. At that point, I can just about feel the creative juices flowing and between one whip through the blogosphere and the next, Tam posts her first post of the day.
This week, she’s had at least two posts up before I roll out of bed EACH DAY. I’mna have to get used to wage slaving all over again come monday. This is the first time In my life I’ve not beaten the sun up more than one or two days in a row.
