Gone afield

First hunting day of 07 for me.

warm. Probably not much in the way of deer wandering around. Still: I gotta scout out as couple places to hunt. Looking forward to being outside.

On the other hand, now I have a treo. I may be treeblogging out of boredom.

When merging off an on-ramp

It’s best to
a: Match your speed with traffic
b: Look and see where cars are
c: Try to find an open spot in the traffic flow, and speed up or slow down to get into it.

Do NOT run down the ramp and match your speed to a car and just change lanes while talking on the phone, forcing the person you are changing lanes into to slam on the brakes to avoid being hit.

Or I will kill you.

Understand?

Vegetarian: It’s what’s for dinner

Over here, steve is talking about meeting a woman who more or less introduced herself by telling him he needed to change.

This reminded me of a woman I met ages ago who did the same to me- told me I should stay away from meat, altogether, be a vegetarian, or perhaps even a more enlightened vegan.

Here’s my reaction to that. Vegetarians are food. Let’s look at the animals in nature:

Vegan animals:

Elephant.
Cow
Pig
Moose
Deer
Elk

Carnivores:

Lion
Wolf
Fox
Coyote
Tiger
Puma
Panther
Cougar

Me? Wolf. Not a cow. In nature, vegetarians are fat, lumbering, slow. Carnivores are muscled, fast and sleek.

Nuff said.
