Everyone and their brother who likes to stay up late has become a ‘Nature photographer’. Add some catchy music and a presenter with a british accent and suddenly two hours of watching porcupines mate is a WTTW special and not just America’s Stupidest Home video.
Though, in WTTW’s defense, the people who watch AFV probably would have no clue what a pangolin is.
but professor Hale has proved me wrong; it IS possible to have a negligent discharge without a firearm.
I missed a good time with good friends this weekend, but it allowed me to have a hot date with two smoking broads.
The Ogwife and the Oglet were as always fine company- I would be perfectly happy with each weekend being like this, forever. A snapshot in time, a couple of beautiful days, the Oglet preparing for college and the ogwife laughing at books she found in the used bookstore. A good memory to have forever, and a happy thought for dark days. If I have a few more like this in my life, it will be enough. For now, I’m thankful to be here.
