The snaik is a low-laying crittur who is all haid and tale but no inbetwixts. Mostly they lais in the dirt but kan somewhise be found in trees. Snaix in trees is oftener found in South Afrikar, and when they is there, they is called by the bore name “Boomslang”

When they is found in the US of A, they is called “Books, Bikes, and Boomslangs” and is most usually of the korn snaik variety, but sometimes can be the battery cable of a 73 Pinto.

I’m never trimming my toenails again without eye protection. I think I missed losing an eye last night by around 3mm.

The dog has a pattern we have followed now for many years. I tie him out, he barks a couple times then realizes, hey, I came out here to shit! then he wanders around, squats, and sniffs around for a bit until he realizes he’s alone, then barks again to be let back in.

Last night he had a whole new sound to his bark, a frantic sound, frenetic even, and i went out to see what he was so worked up over.

A little pack of coyotes was running through the yard. A big male and female, and two younger females. The male looked big, maybe 40 lbs.

While I would shoot them in a minute if i had chickens or other livestock, I’m damned if I’mna harm a hair on their heads here.Professional courtesy, maybe.

Until I can get a decent camera you’ll just have to put up with the crappy cellphone pics. Thing is, my cellphone takes better pics than the camera I do have.

The receiver is not too heavily polished, I used tripoli cut and color, and white alumina color compound. This is just what it looks like clean.
This is the new buttplate, ground to fit. I wet it just a bit so you can get an dea how it will look when done, there’s still a lot of sanding to do.
