Anyone with sufficient math skills to balance their own checkbook, and the sense that God gave granite, could “fix” the federal budget in about a week, and make it work like a sewing machine. just cutting 10% off the administrative costs of each bloated entitlement program would amount to the most amazing savings.
A good friend of mine, who has testified in Congress, told me he believed the representatives really did represent their constituency as best they could, but the bureaucracy is and was a nightmare, and the politicians are beholden to that bureaucracy. And a lions share of that bloated federal budget is devoted to keeping that burocracy happy, and it has powerful unions ot protect it.
We know what we have to do. When are we going to do it?
This happened to people I knew growing up. One was molested by a girl on his paper route, and another by a shut-in woman in the neighborhood.
Probably every man in the sound of my voice will have his mind go to a different place for a few moments right now.
Let me snap you back into reality. The incident doesn’t give any details because the three involved were minors, and the victim was a special needs teen. I CAN give you the details of the incidents of my memory, because the people in question are moved away or dead now. The paperboy was a neighbor and friend of mine, and a girl on his route conned him into the house where she locked him in and… did things to him. Nobody ever believed him, and not too many years later, he took his own life. In the other circumstance it was a kid doing his first job delivering pizza who was ensnared by a young woman on disability that would not leave her home.
It isn’t the hot cheerleader that molests the chubby nerd. It’s a creepy person with a poor grasp of morality taking advantage of the innocent. It doesn’t happen the fantasy way, it’s the woman down the block who looks like Nancy Pelosi who zipties your thumbs together and plays with your junk, or the girl with the stench and the green teeth that holds you down and makes you play with hers.
The fact that this was a special needs kid makes it that much worse.
Good lord, people, if you’re incapable of relating to other humans in an even remotely civilized manner, get a computer and an internet connection and do whatever you’re going to do by yourself, or find someone online as hosed up as you are and hookup with them. Leave other people the chance to lead normal lives.
